Simple Daily Tasks ("the app") is designed to be fully private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

Data we collect

None. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party.

Data you enter

The information you enter — task names, descriptions, dates, repeat schedules, and alarm times — is stored only on your device, in the app's private local database. It never leaves your device.

No network, no tracking

• The app requests no internet permission and makes no network connections.
• There are no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
• There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing is uploaded to any server.

Permissions the app does request

• Notifications — to show the alarm you optionally set on a task. Alarms are off by default; if you never set one, no notification is ever scheduled.
• Exact alarms — so a reminder arrives at the minute you chose rather than whenever the system next decides to wake the app.
• Run at startup — so reminders you already scheduled survive a device restart.
• Vibrate and keep device awake — to vibrate and wake the screen when a reminder is delivered.
• App badge — to show a count on the app icon on launchers that support it.
• View network connections — added automatically by the app framework. The app has no internet permission, so it cannot open a network connection regardless.

These are used only to deliver reminders you set up yourself. None of them send data anywhere.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete individual tasks within the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app — any of which permanently removes the data. Because nothing is uploaded, uninstalling the app deletes every copy we could possibly have.

Children's privacy

The app contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no data collection of any kind, so it poses no privacy risk to children. It is a general-purpose task list and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "last updated" date.
